Can dogs get Covid?
Understandably, dog owners may be concerned about COVID-19 and the effect it could have on their pets. So, can dogs get Covid?

Animals can catch the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and this is the virus that causes COVID-19. Not all animals can get it, but dogs are one species that can. Thankfully, it is rare, and dogs tend only to show mild clinical signs, recovering after a few days.
